3CS Dominates Web Design Awards
3CS retained the Gold award for Best Web Developer in Sri Lanka, for the 3rd year running at the annual Bestweb competition, firmly establishing its position as Sri Lanka’s premier web solutions company.
3CS swept the Travel & Tourism category, bagging all three awards on offer. Mount Lavinia Hotel won Gold, with The Kingsbury and Reefs Edge websites also receiving awards. This was the 2nd time that 3CS dominated the awards in the Travel category. The awards reflect the vast experience 3CS has in developing and maintaining hotel and travel websites, and makes the company stand out as the preferred web developer for the travel sector.
3CS also dominated the Commercial category, winning 4 of the 6 awards. The 3CS websites awarded in this category included 3CS, Colonial Tea, Anoma Opticians and ECL. 3CS designed websites also received awards in the Non-Profit, eCommerce and Sinhala Language categories. Altogether 10 websites designed by 3CS received awards, and brought the total 3CS awards tally to 12.
The Mount Lavinia Hotel website also won the Gold award for the best overall website. This was the 2nd time this award has gone to Mount Lavinia Hotel.
This year over 500 websites entered Bestweb, with websites by every web design company in the country, making it a fiercely fought contest. Due to the public voting aspect of the competition, Bestweb is keenly watched and participated in by the general public, with strong social media participation.
BestWeb.lk is a national competition organized by the .LK Domain Registry aimed at recognising the best websites in Sri Lanka. The competition increases general awareness of the country’s best websites and provides an exclusive opportunity to showcase Sri Lankan web identities online. It has been a highly successful competition since its commencement in 2009 and has been met with much enthusiasm from participants and the general public throughout the years.
