The new John Keells Foundation website, designed by 3CS, was officially launched by the Chairman of John Keells Holdings at a special event held at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel on 28 March 2016.
John Keells Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) entity of the John Keells Group which - since its establishment in March 2005 - drives the Group's CSR initiatives from the centre.
The Foundation carries out a range of Medium-Long term strategic and sustainable projects within six Focus Areas reflecting the diversity within the John Keells Group. Initiatives under each Focus Area are aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals as well as the United Nations Global Compact. The Foundation aims at spending over 1% of the annual profits of the Group on social responsibility initiatives.
The web design is based on modern design trends, simplicity and minimalism, making it functional and user friendly. It is fully responsive and compatible with all mobile devices and platforms. The website is also closely integrated with Social Media. Showcasing the contribution of the Foundation to over 2.5 million beneficiaries over more than a decade of service, the website provides in depth information including projects under Focus Areas, press articles, publications, events and photo and video galleries.
As with every 3CS solution, the website runs on state-of- the-art infrastructure, and has been highly optimised for search engines.
